Admissions Process

Step One

Take a Tour

The best way to decide if Cair Paravel would be a good fit is by touring the school. We also encourage interested families to read about classical Christian education and learn how it is different from traditional public schools and even other Christian schools. Step two


Your admissions file is opened when we receive a completed application. Each student application should have a photo, grade cards for the past two years, and standardized test scores for the past two years (if available) uploaded during the online application process. 

 International Student Applications are being accepted
February 1:  Little Lions Applications will open
March 1:  Kindergarten-High School Applications will open

Application Fees 
K-12: $125 for first child 
$100 for second child 
$75 for third child 
$50 for fourth child
Little Lions: $25 + $100 enrollment fee if accepted

Step three

Academic Testing

The Admissions Department will examine previous school report cards and the most recent standardized test scores. Each student will meet with a faculty member and complete an academic assessment to confirm the applicant is academically prepared to join the grade level for which they are applying.

Children applying to Kindergarten will have an academic evaluation to determine if they are developmentally ready to learn in a classroom environment. Older students will take more academic-based tests with sections on math, grammar, and reading comprehension.

Step four

Family Interview

The Admissions Director will contact parents to schedule a meeting with a panel of school administrators. This is a vital part of the admissions process and provides a time for everyone to get to know one another more personally. It is also an ideal opportunity for parents to ask any final questions regarding school policies and governance.

Parents applying for their children to attend CPLS should be professing Christians who actively participate in a local church congregation. Parents who choose not to prioritize church attendance should carefully consider whether the mission of our classical Christian school is in line with your educational goals for your children.

Admission Decision

Families are notified in writing of their acceptance or denial of admission within two weeks of the family interview. If an applicant and family are found to be admissible but no space is available at that time, families will have the option of remaining in a waiting pool to be considered should a spot become available.
Step six


Online enrollment is to be completed within two weeks of acceptance. Arrangements will be made at this time for monthly tuition payments and automatic withdrawals. Students joining the school mid-year will submit their online enrollment information before the first day of school attendance.
