Admissions Process

Step One

Take a Tour

The best way to decide if Cair Paravel would be a good fit is by touring the school. We also encourage interested families to read about classical Christian education and learn how it is different from traditional public schools and even other Christian schools. To learn more about Classical Christian Education click here.

In order to make the most of your partnership with us, it is important to understand what we do and why we do it.

If you like what you read and want to learn more, schedule a campus tour.

Step two

Apply

Your admissions file is opened when we receive a completed application. Each student application should have a photo, grade cards for the past two years, and standardized test scores for the past two years (if available) uploaded during the online application process.

Timeline
January-July:
 International Student Applications are accepted
February 1:  Little Lions Application portal opens
March 1:  Kindergarten-High School application portal opens

Application Fee: $125 per application
Little Lions application fee is $25 plus a $100 enrollment fee upon acceptance

Step three

Academic Testing

The Admissions Department will examine previous school report cards and the most recent standardized test scores. Each student will meet with a faculty member and complete an academic assessment to confirm the applicant is academically prepared to join the grade level for which they are applying.

Children applying to Kindergarten will have a readiness evaluation to determine if they are developmentally ready to learn in a classroom environment.

Older students will have a more rigorous academic evaluation with sections on math, grammar, and reading comprehension. Students entering 7th-12th grades must also be able to articulate and demonstrate faith in Jesus Christ.

Step four

Parent Interview

It is important that the beliefs and practices of the family are consistent with the standards, statement of faith, and values of the school. At least one parent should be a professing Christian who actively participates in a local Christian church congregation.

Parents who choose not to prioritize church attendance should carefully consider whether the mission of our classical Christian school is in line with your educational goals for your children.

step five

Admission Decision

Families are notified in writing of their acceptance or denial of admission within two weeks of the parent interview. If an applicant and family are found to be admissible but no space is available at that time, families will have the option of remaining in a waiting pool to be considered should a spot become available.
Step six

Enrollment

Online enrollment is to be completed within two weeks of acceptance. Arrangements will be made at this time for monthly tuition payments and automatic withdrawals. Students joining the school mid-year will submit their online enrollment information before the first day of school attendance.
