Why I teach at CPLS: As a graduate of Cair Paravel, I know firsthand what a special place it is. During my time as a student, I developed a deep love of learning that ultimately led me to a career in teaching. One class that had a lasting impact on me was Great Ideas, where I was first introduced to philosophy through the works of Plato, Aristotle, Augustine, and Aquinas, among others. It is incredibly meaningful to now be teaching that same course, one that shaped me so profoundly, and to have the opportunity to pass on to students what I once received. Additionally, I hope to be part of the school, not just as a teacher, but also as a parent. I hope to send my own children here, to watch them participate in the same plays, learn from some of the same teachers I had, and experience the wonder and joy of learning at Cair Paravel.

Personal Testimony: I have been a Christian since as long as I can remember. From an early age I saw myself as a sinner in need of Christ’s sacrifice. I praise God for the grace he has shown me. Every time in my life when I have hardened my heart, God has lovingly softened it. Every time I have begun to stray, he has led me back. He gave me a church, school, and parents who raised me in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. It is my prayer that God continues to guide me as I raise my children and minister in the lives of my students.
