Education: B.S. in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood, Emporia State University

Why I teach at CPLS: I teach at CPLS to share my faith in God and my love of learning with both my students and fellow teachers. From the moment I first visited the campus, I immediately felt welcomed and included. You can truly sense the presence of God here, reflected in the love that each person has for one another. I am so thankful that God has led our family to CPLS!

Personal Testimony: At the age of 19, I accepted Christ as my Savior. Up until that point in my life, I believed that doing good deeds would get me to Heaven. However, keeping up with good deeds was hard. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Seeing and hearing that all have sinned made me realize I wasn’t the only one. Tears began to flow as I discovered that God loved me and what He sent Jesus to do for me. I learned that Jesus paid for my sins and that He loved me. I can’t imagine my life without Jesus, and I’m incredibly humbled by His forgiveness and grace.
