Years at CPLS: 2024-present

Education: Attended The University of Kansas for 3 years with coursework in Early Childhood Education, Behavior Analysis and American Sign Language. Received several certifications from CCEI (Child Care Education Institute) including
1) Practicing Positive Guidance with Preschool and School-Age Children
2) Teaching Multiage Groups
3) Reflective Practices in Early Childhood Education
4) Understand & Promoting Developement in the Preschool Years
5) Classroom Management

Why I Teach at CPLS: I teach at CPLS because I love teaching children about God’s word. The school environment is so welcoming and friendly which helped so much being new to Topeka and CPLS.

My Testimony: I grew up with a single mother who taught me God’s word from a young age. However, I became closer to God when I was in a car accident 3 years ago. I was put on bed rest for three months and wasn’t supposed to get any function back in my right hand or wrist. However, God healed me and truly gave me the strength through every step of recovery.
