Why I teach at CPLS: As our children approached school age, we began to investigate educational options and were much impressed by Cair Paravel’s classical model of education, as well as by the atmosphere of respect and fun that we observed here. Now I feel grateful for the privilege of helping to foster that respectful but fun learning environment. I want to guide students in appreciating truth, beauty, and goodness, in learning the old things, and in acquainting themselves with a language and culture not their own.

Personal Testimony: I grew up a child of missionaries in D.R. Congo, and with an abundance of missionary role models, I was grounded and strengthened in faith from an early age. As I became an adult, I gradually made that faith my own and became more personally committed to Christ. But there is always so much more to learn, and I am still trying to understand what it means to believe.
